Infectious Diseases

Infectious diseases are clinically visible illnesses caused by the infection, presence, and growth of pathogenic biological agents in an individual host organism. They are also known as transmissible diseases or communicable diseases. Infectious diseases can be passed from person to person through a variety of routes, including airborne particles, bodily fluid exchange, and even a simple handshake, and can spread from host to host through both direct and indirect contact.

Your doctor can use testing to determine whether your symptoms are the result of an infectious disease. Examples of infectious diseases that we offer tests for include Hepatitis B and Covid-19 to mention a few.
